Sirvoy + Booking.com: Three New Features to Make Your Work Easier

14 May 2025, 09:33 pm NZST

If you list your property on Booking.com, you know how important it is to keep things running smoothly between your booking platform and your hospitality management system. That’s why Sirvoy is rolling out three new updates that give you more control, save time, and help ensure your numbers are always accurate.

1. Taxes & Fees? Now They’re Imported Automatically

Sirvoy now automatically imports flat fees and taxes from Booking.com as extras—so you no longer have to enter them manually.

This means:

✅Your Booking.com reservation totals will match what you see in Sirvoy.

✅Less risk of undercharging or overcharging guests.

✅No more double-checking and adjusting totals by hand.

If your taxes and fees are already included in the nightly rate, there’s nothing you need to do. But if you add them on top, make sure the tax and fee settings in Sirvoy and Booking.com match. This keeps everything in sync.

2. Virtual Credit Card (VCC) Balance—Now Displayed in the Booking

Checking the balance and charging VCCs from Booking.com just got easier—if you’re using Stripe and Sirvoy Vault. Sirvoy now displays the VCC balance and activation date right inside the booking details, so you’re never left guessing.

Here’s how it works:

  • If Booking.com provides the balance, you’ll see it in Sirvoy.
  • A VCC balance of zero? Not a problem—Booking.com doesn’t always send updates.
  • You can still safely charge the VCC in Sirvoy after the activation date, even if the displayed balance shows zero.

This update removes guesswork and helps you manage VCC payments with more confidence.

3. More Control Over Your Booking Window

Now you can set how far in advance guests can book through Booking.com.

With two new settings in Sirvoy, you can:

  • Min advance reservation – How close to check-in guests can book.
  • Max advance reservation – How far ahead of check-in guests can book.

These are based on what you’ve set up in Booking.com, if anything is specified there. If not, Sirvoy will use your default booking engine’s Booking Window setting instead. You can adjust them anytime on the Booking.com connection page or override them per rate.

💡 Note: If your max advance reservation exceeds Booking.com’s limit, Sirvoy will automatically cap it at their maximum of 360 days.

Less Hassle, More Accuracy

These updates are designed to keep things simple and give you more control over your Booking.com reservations. Whether it’s eliminating manual fee entries, making VCC payments easier to track, or fine-tuning your booking window, Sirvoy is here to help.
